The most important part for any consultant in SAP is the implementation experience. Every ABAPer wants to work in a implementation project, so that they can get more developments and sharpen their knowledge. Even its good to work in a implementation project also.

When you try to change or switch your job, the very common question asked by the interviewer is How many implementation projects did you work? Even HR people or recruitment consultant who never had any experience in SAP asked such questions mostly. Anyway the answer they get from us is "I worked on 2-3 implementation project", just an example.

But do you really know that the actual meaning of the question is different. Even the HR people or even most of us don't know that.

Actually by implementation, some one want to ask you in how many actually implementation project did you involve? Whatever we do in our day to day work in offshore is a part of implementation. The actual implementation is done in the client site, mostly on site.

So if you have ever traveled to client site for implementation purpose, there you can face the real challenge of implementation. How the different programs were connected and how they behave in production. The clients reaction on every issue etc etc.

I think that should be count as a complete implementation experience, where you involved in development, support, integration and all other important phases of an SAP implementation.

    sap abap certification
SAP has become very hot technology these days. Right now in the current market scenario in ERP, SAP is the king. So ABAP is also the king, as it is the backend of any SAP module. But due to a good career prospect in SAP area, more and more people started engaging in SAP ABAP or you can say SAP from any background. Here we will point only to SAP ABAP.

ABAP is purely technical. Means you have to learn and think logically and really fast. ABAP is a huge language and believe me it will take your real hard work to learn the basic ABAP only. Even this is not the end, Advance ABAP topics are next. Basic ABAP is a must but not enough to get a job. You have to learn Web-dynpro ABAP, OOPs, Workflow to attract companies towards your CV. And the most challenging part in ABAP is you need more and more practice than theoretical knowledge.

So, the thing is industry require a talented and skilful ABAPer. Who has some real time experience with project work experiences. May be with some on-site exposure with real-time implementation experience. In such a scenario if you do ABAP certification, you will be benefited from that. But I think as a fresher Certification program will not add much value. Because you do not have that real-time on project experience, which ABAP certification cannot provide. And numbers of certified consultants are also increasing day by day. So obviously the value is getting diluted. But any SAP Certification program has its own value which is definitely very high comparing with a similar profile.

But ultimately knowledge is the only factor in any technology or sector. No one can stop you to get a job, if you can achieve complete command over technology.

If you are planning to do a certification, but don't know where to find out the proper information for that, then you have come to the right place. Let's assume you are going to do certification from SAP itself. In India you can also do that from NIIT, Gennovate, Siemens etc.

Simply visit the link below to find out SAP certification program details.
