You can comment any line in ABAP program in two ways:
1.By placing an asterisk (*) in column 1, the complete line is designated as a comment line. You can use ctrl+, to comment a line, and ctrl+. to uncomment the line.
2.By placing a double quotation mark (") within a line, the remainder of the line is considered a comment.
