As we have already learned that, with BDC data can be transferred from a SAP to non SAP ans also vice versa. This can be classified in 2 sections
• Outbound
• Inbound
1. Outbound: Transfer data from the Source system to Target system (External/Internal). Outbound is the data transfer from SAP R/3 system to another SAP R/3 or Non-SAP system. Here, Source system is always SAP.
2. Inbound: Transfer data from External System into SAP system. Inbound is the data transfer from SAP R/3 or Non-SAP system to SAP system. Here, Target System is always SAP.
But BDC itself is an inbound data transfer technique.
